The apartment was spotless and located short walk to the garden, the city centre, and the Lakes. Location was fab and amazing, close to the lake district👌🙂

I really enjoyed the place. It has comfy bed and a huge bathroom. They provide shower facilities, a hairdryer, and fresh towels in the washroom.

airethwaite house in kendal surpassed my expectations during our stopover. sandie, the host, was amazing - quick to respond and resolve any issues. the flat was quiet and cool, perfect for peaceful sleep. the location was ideal, close to town with parking and free wifi. 10/10 recommend.

I had a delightful stay at a beautiful Victorian house with stunning views of the Lake District. The B&B suite was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The breakfast in the bright and spacious sitting room was delicious, offering a variety of options. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the city center and cafes. Though there were some minor drawbacks like limited lighting and complicated heating controls, overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Airethwaite House and would highly recommend it.

Just returned from a lovely weekend stay at Airethwaite House. The basement apartment had all we needed, well-kept, and very clean and tidy. Its private parking was ideal, and its central location made it great for getting around on foot. We loved relaxing in the patio area and enjoying the lovely garden. The owner was a perfect host, providing anything we asked for. Heartful thanks for a perfect weekend away. Would highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this lovely basement flat in Kendal for a few nights. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The flat was quiet, clean, and cosy, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The internet connection was excellent, and the parking on the drive was a great convenience. Sandie, the host, was responsive and friendly, making the stay enjoyable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches of milk and sweets provided by the host, a nice treat after a long drive.

The basement suite had a musky smell, causing allergies. The bedroom was small with minimal lighting.

The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It had all the necessary facilities and more, making it very accommodating. the location was great as we had easy access to parking right outside the apartment. This made it convenient for us to come and go as we pleased during our city trip.

Our stay was marred by the noise from the rooms above. Being in the basement room, we were constantly disturbed by the sound of people talking and walking around on solid floors.
